There was a lot of hoopla a few weeks ago when Google announced that it is working on a computer operating system called Chrome OS. This prompted some to wonder if Google will become a threat to Microsoft and even Apple.

If Google is successful in persuading PC makers to bundle the OS on netbooks or other machines, than every PC that goes out the door with Google’s operating system is one less PC being sold with Microsoft Windows. In theory, at least, a cool new OS from Google could even wean away some potential Macintosh buyers, hurting Apple as well. FULL STORY
